JASON HICKS
My name is Jason Hicks, I am married to the most beautiful, intelligent, honest, and wonderful lady on earth… Paige Hicks! We have two children and live in Aiken SC
I am from Greensboro NC, where I spent most of my time as a total heathen. I avoided Jesus at every turn. By all accounts I was what the world would see as a “lost cause.” Drugs, alcohol, and the devil basically ruled my life. By all accounts, I was a “good person” but I had no direction, left only to ride the waves of this world lost and on my way to an eternity without a Jesus that I had never heard of.
The Lord saved me at the age of twenty-one. When He saved me, He rescued me from the drugs, alcohol, and all the sin that I had called my life for so long! Sadly, even though I was now “saved” … Just like for most Christians I didn’t take my newfound faith as seriously as I should have. It took me thirteen years before it finally sank in! I suppose I never really saw anyone living “it”. It was then that the Lord Jesus placed a burden within me, a calling. RECONCILIATION! It was during this time that He began to show us the work He had for us, showing the Christians that are struggling in their walk with the Lord, the ones dealing with church hurt, addiction, rejection, and the trials of life the way back to Jesus

PAIGE HICKS
Hi, my name is Paige Hicks. I am from Aiken and graduated from USC-Aiken as a Registered Nurse, I have not ventured far from home :-). Jason and I married in 2000. We have two young adult children who both live in Aiken. I was raised in church, saved and baptized at the age of eight. I fell away as most of us do, but the Lord brought me back! In 2013 the Lord set a fire in me for more of him and I have not turned back. In 2015 the Lord called us into the ministry of deliverance and spiritual warfare, we have been answering that call ever since. 2020 was a big year for most people and it definitely was us! It was at this time God opened the doors for WE STILL BELIEVE MINISTRIES. God is so amazing and so awesome!

You don’t have to live in bondage. Jesus died to set us free. HE is the answer!

BRANDON HICKS
Hi I’m Brandon Hicks. I grew up in Aiken sc and I’ve made We Still Believe Ministries my home church because it immediately felt like home and there are opportunities to serve Jesus. I was saved back in 2011 while attending my cousin’s baptism. I felt an extreme desire to repent for my sins and a short time after that I was baptized. After that my family and I were on again, off again until 2015 when we decided to change churches. This church we found taught us that there was more to the Bible that we never knew such as deliverance and once saved always saved not being true. I would say that’s when I put my “flag” in the ground for Jesus and that I would stand for God. I’m very glad God showed me His truth. His truth being that we are called to be so much more than a bench warmer or a pew potato. Praise Jesus.

DAN PETERSON
Hi, I’m Dan Peterson and I live in Aiken with my absolutely amazing and beautiful wife Jenn, and our four children. We are originally from Illinois in the Chicagoland area. We moved down to Aiken because a friend had moved to this area and told me about an opportunity. My wife, being the opportunist she is, actually took the initiative and helped me apply for that opportunity.. and when I say helped, I mean she did it for me. One thing led to another and we ended up here in Aiken. We met Jason and Paige a year or so later when we were going through a very rough time spiritually. They were there to listen and help when our “church family” at the time looked at us like we were crazy and needed a psychological evaluation. I guess they never read the part of the Bible that says we will have troubles in this world. Either way, we became fast friends with the Hicks and have been proud to call them family ever since. Shortly after We Still Believe Ministries started, my wife and I felt God was pointing us to join the ministry, so here we are! There are two verses that stand out for my family:
You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. -Jeremiah 29:13

Hey!
My name is Jean Hicks and The only thing cool about me is that I get the privilege to try, fail, mess up and win while serving God in a brand new way every day!
(Sometimes hour to hour haha)
I believe fully that God has already given me and you every tool, (prayer, fasting, giving of testimony, deliverance, laying on of hands, it goes on and on) and every help and support (Jesus the Word, the Holy Spirit the comforter and God the FATHER) I need to overcome, succeed, and serve him faithfully!
I also believe that God 100% wants us free, and he wants that for us all regardless of how we started or just how bound we’ve become.
For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

JORDIN WORKS
My name is Jordin Works and I love the Lord. Jesus is my advocate before God and He has saved my soul for all eternity. You can never understand love until God shows you his love, and it is my hope to show this love to everyone I come across.
I fall short more often than I know, but I will strive to serve the Lord as He changes me into someone after His own heart.
